(위)왼쪽의 사진은 노아의 방주 탐험가인 로날드 얏트(RONALD E. WYATT)가 보았다고 주장하는 법궤를 예술가가 복원한 것이고, 오른쪽 사진은 2천년전 가버나움 회당의 벽에 묘사된 성전의 법궤 모습이다.

위의 돌판은 니므루드(Nimrud)에서 발견된 것으로 현재 영국 런던에 있는 브리티쉬 박물관에 소장되어 있다. 두 날개 천사 사이에 새겨진 나무는 모세가 본 불붙는 나무, 그리고 천사가 손에 쥐고 있는 고리는 종려나무일 가능성이 크다(참고: 출애급기 25:18-40). 아래의 사진은 이 돌 판을 근거로 만든 법궤의 모형이다. 그러나 이 돌 판이 법궤의 뚜껑이었을 가능성에 대해서는 미지수이다.

THE 'ARK ANGELS'

The burning bush may have been this panel plaque of the two winged angles with the "tree"  between them.  It may have been the proof he needed to substantiate the stories, and bolster his resolve to save his people.  The palm lines on the hand of the "cherub" may have stirred his memory of a palm line he had seen in Thebes. It may have been the clue to the burial place of Joseph.  AND IT DEFINITELY COULD HAVE BEEN THE MODEL FOR THE COVER FOR THE ARK OF THE COVENANT.  see Exodus 25:18-40 and http://www1.iwvisp.com/dnichol/Moses.html
