JERUSALEM, Israel - Who wore this ancient, finely crafted
amulet? Carefully wrapped in a leather pocket and worn around the neck or the
arm, it was undoubtedly someone's sacred treasure. Was it a daughter of
Jerusalem, a delicate maiden with the amulet adorning her left arm? Or was it a
strapping soldier, fighting against the Roman legions for the freedom of Israel,
binding this precious amulet close to his heart?

A two sided, first century amulet, depicting the life of Jesus, seems to
dramatically substantiate major parts of the Gospel Accounts.

We may never know, but what we do know is that this 2,000 year-old heirloom
seems to depict scenes of Jesus' ministry, including several miracles recorded
in the Gospel accounts.
